I went to Atlanta for a week. Here is what I did on my Day 2, or check out my
Atlanta City Guide.
WAFFLE HOUSE -- A Southern diner chain that is known for great people-watching. Loved the atmosphere, and the waffles are decent. I ordered the hash-browns chunked but everyone ordered it smothered. I think "smothered" may be the way to go. The cheese grits came with a slice of cheese in it, not the most appetizing-looking...

GEORGIA AQUARIUM -- How many aquariums can say they have a tank with whale sharks? Not to mention the other sharks and fish in that tank. There is also a room of frogs! And Piranhas, Crocodiles, Sea otters, Oh my!
|
Whale Shark! |
WORLD OF COCA-COLA -- A museum and tour of all things Coca-Cola. Mind you, you are paying to be propagandized to, but there is an all-you-can-drink buffet of all the drinks around the world under the Coca-Cola umbrella.

The drinks are divided by continent. These are from the African continent. "Stoney" was the absolute worst! |
CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC PARK -- The park is a block away from World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium. Stop by after visiting the other locations.
|
Kids playing at the rings. |
ANTICO PIZZA -- Great pizza place. You go in and place your order first, then find a bench-like seating anywhere inside the open kitchen. The pizzas are made
really fast and fresh. Their cannoli is really good too.
