Back to LA

I just got back from my holiday last evening. It was such a good flight into LA that the passengers burst into spontaneous applause when we landed! Has that ever happened on a flight you were on before?

I had a great time but am so glad to be back home. I will share more with you about my holiday in Switzerland and Italy in the coming week, so please check back in.

the smell of wet asphalt, hedges, stepping on dry crunchy leaves, red brick walls, cool breezes on a warm day, the warmth of the sun on a cold day, writing my name into a new book, singing, the process of getting to know a person, paper, hand-written notes from friends, subtlety, being driven around (as opposed to driving), brown paper bags, blowing dandelions, my friends being happy, writing with a pencil, making people laugh, holding a warm mug when it is cold, drinking tea, sticking my face out the window of a moving car, being barefoot & in pajamas, the fact you've read this far.
