IF: Atmosphere

I didn't like the Illustration Friday prompt this week. I mean atmosphere?! What kind of word is that?! It is so devoid of any connotations! It is so prone to literal interpretation! But that is why I have to admit... it is a great prompt.

I would have liked to come up with a more... romantic illustration. You know, a picture that conjures up words like: pretty, serene, lovely. But this is the only image that is going to come to mind...before Friday. Got mints?

the smell of wet asphalt, hedges, stepping on dry crunchy leaves, red brick walls, cool breezes on a warm day, the warmth of the sun on a cold day, writing my name into a new book, singing, the process of getting to know a person, paper, hand-written notes from friends, subtlety, being driven around (as opposed to driving), brown paper bags, blowing dandelions, my friends being happy, writing with a pencil, making people laugh, holding a warm mug when it is cold, drinking tea, sticking my face out the window of a moving car, being barefoot & in pajamas, the fact you've read this far.
