TPS Conference 2010

I went to my alma mater Biola yesterday for the Talbot Philosophical Society (TPS) Conference.  I went there to support my department, for nostalgia-sakes, and to hear my good buddy Robbie give a paper on "The Price Isn't Right".  It has something to do with whether arithmetic can be reduced to logic and the metaontological implications of such a position. He lost me at "hello!"

Joel introducing Robert J. Hirsch (Princeton), aka Robbie.
Robbie answering Andrew Bailey's (Notre Dame) questions about his paper.

  1. It sounds like Martian language to me!
I wish I knew more philosophy. Maybe you are meant to connect not only with philosophers but also to artists, musicians, writers, etc. because you are not a pure bred, hard-core philosopher...
