Egg-citing Artwork!

I know Easter has already come and gone, but I want to share with you the beautiful artwork my students did for the occasion. These decorative egg pictures were colored first with crayons, leaving white lines in between, and then washed over entirely with black watercolor. This technique gives a stained glass effect with bold outlines that make colors more brilliant. The 5-7 year olds that did these pictures got to decide on their own patterns and motifs. Can you recognize the teeth in one of the pictures?! Haha!
