Believe it or not, there is springtime in the desert too! I took a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park yesterday to check out the wildflowers blooming. There were no fields filled with pinks and reds like I imagined, but little jewel-colored blooms that required some detective work. Flowers aside, the rock formations and the other flora there are fantastic too.
