I Voted!

Today is election day, and I don't think I have ever been this excited about voting. For the first time, I didn't feel overwhelmed by my own unpreparedness (thanks to talking with friends and listening to KPCC). I walked out with my "I voted" sticker and has been sporting it around with pride! Have you voted? Does your sticker look like mine?

the smell of wet asphalt, hedges, stepping on dry crunchy leaves, red brick walls, cool breezes on a warm day, the warmth of the sun on a cold day, writing my name into a new book, singing, the process of getting to know a person, paper, hand-written notes from friends, subtlety, being driven around (as opposed to driving), brown paper bags, blowing dandelions, my friends being happy, writing with a pencil, making people laugh, holding a warm mug when it is cold, drinking tea, sticking my face out the window of a moving car, being barefoot & in pajamas, the fact you've read this far.
