I carve pumpkins for Halloween. It is what I do. I take it very seriously. I even make tons of sketches for that perfect face that exhibits simplicity of shape, balance, and has the quirkiness deserving of being my pumpkin. But no matter what face I plan on, there are always unexpected surprises.
